Sparks Hockey Club is a Gladstone based hockey team, playing at Rigby Park Hockey Fields. We are a family friendly and inclusive club that values players of all levels. The club welcomes people from all backgrounds who are interested in learning more about hockey, keeping fit, teamwork and competition as well as social competitions.
The Club first began competing in 1935 and has evolved to a competitive club that trains hard, whilst maintaining a fun and social atmosphere. The club has maintained both juniors and seniors for many years now and competes at local competitions from U7’s to A1.
The Club has produced through our coaches of our club both Queensland and Australian representative players, coaches and team managers. Our coaches and team managers hold a valid Blue Card as well as the club supporting “Play by the Rules”.
A fun, family friendly club that supports all junior and senior members of our club in both social and competitive competitions.
